Meet the Crew of the
West Wind
| Captain Olan West
has been saltwater fishing for over twenty
years. He has fished the Outer Banks since he was a boy. Growing
up along the Chesapeake Bay and coming to the Outer Banks he ran various
size boats until he turned professional at the age of 17. He began
fishing waters from Florida to Virginia for several years, then as a private
captain in the Bahamas. Capt. West brings a love for fishing along
with the latest electronics to help make your day a memorable one. |

Mate
Roland Mulder is from Holland, and has lived
on the Outer Banks since he was 19. Roland has 15 years of experience
of commercial fishing. Roland has just recently made the transition to
charter fishing. The picture you see below is Roland getting the
traditional toss overboard after his first big marlin catch, a 500-lb.
